Limited by human sensory awareness and cognitive interpretation, the contemplation of life is a disconcerting exercise for anyone willing to experience the world through the window of his or her mind’s eye. The exploration of the terrain with the aid of the subconscious reveals a volatile scene in a time-space continuum where energy fuels the interaction of all matter. 

Within the window, we are presented with the trinity of pre-, current- and post-life experience and our connection to the source energy. Currently inhabiting the plane of existence on which to ponder each move before engaging in action, we are encouraged to drop the veil of ignorance in order to find meaning and make better decisions. The moves we make are not stratagems to outwit an opponent but coincide with the actions of all sentient life, creating a perpetually changing environment.

As our consciousness expands, we become aware of life’s complex structure and dilemmas such as the creator-destroyer paradox in which survival necessitates the consumption of resources and destruction of life. Torn between the pragmatic mind engaging in the activities to support survival and the emotional mind wracked with the guilt of harming sentient life, we are faced with the burden of rationalizing existence. Accordingly, exercising choice in an intricate atmosphere leaves us grappling with reality and illusion in a world where the most difficult questions go unanswered and voices from the past shape our perceptions of reality.  

As the totality of matter evolves toward a more complex subsistence, and we feel helpless to impact a universe beyond our control, we are encouraged to find solace in knowing our contributions are valued by those around us, necessary in a world where maximum diversity supports maximum life. 

We are all artists in the amphitheater of existence where reality is the manifestation of our actions and the orchestra plays melodiously when we learn to blend the sounds of our unique instruments.
