When the bi-pedal bone bags became consciously aware of their surroundings and actions, good and evil was born. Throughout the world, divergent cultures emerged and began to develop judgement-based institutions bound by extreme parameters like Heaven and Hell. Laws, rules, mores, memes, parables, symbolism; and all sorts of vehicles governed all of the planet’s inhabitants who struggle daily with value judgments, trying to shape a meaningful existence.

What is meaningful, however, varies amongst individuals and becomes a matter of personal choice.

What matters to society becomes a function of the collective needs.

What mattes beyond that is better left up to the gods.
